Pioneer Labs developed from conversations with people in everyday life. Very often I would hear things like, “I don’t like my job I want to find a way out”, “I wish I could start a business I just don’t have the time”, “I like doing ________ and it would be nice to share it with others,” “It would be so helpful to have an additional income source, etc.”

It’s not too difficult to discover that there are many resources for those who already have a business. However, for others who want to start a business the assistance is often minimal and usually just informational. There just isn’t much out there that helps people actually set up a business with all the necessary components in a high quality and readily functional manner.

This is the main reason why Pioneer Labs exists: to bridge that gap and help people with good ideas and valuable skills start businesses- without having to leave the stability of their current income.

Most people can start a business with “sweat equity” as Mark Cuban calls it, using money from your current income stream. The majority of people don’t need an MBA to start a business, a large amount of highly successful business owners never had one. Oftentimes, it comes down to the time aspect, most people have something they could sell, something that would useful to society but they don’t have the time to start a business.

A little about me: I started my first business about 7 years ago (few others since then) and I increasingly find much satisfaction in bringing all the parts of a business together from idea to launch. Quality is extremely important to me and efficiency is key, but market fit is what makes something successful.
